Isobel Slocombe is a Bristol-based culture writer and editor.Her work explores digital identities, feminist thought, film, grief and confession; fusing critical theory with her own observations. She has been published by the likes of Polyester Zine, The Indiependent and The Teen Magazine, and is a featured writer on Darling Jane.She is also the Founding Editor of Compile Magazine, a print publication platforming emerging writers, artists and photographers.She was named National Best Culture Writer 2026 by the SPA as well as receiving two nominations for the Best Arts or Culture piece.
